Ship Now and choose a courier
Book a courier for an order: compare rates, let RouteOne auto-assign or pick one yourself, and see how the wallet is debited.
Every order that is ready to go has a shipment in the Created tab of B2C › Shipments. Ship Now books a courier for it and gives you an AWB (the courier's tracking number).
Before you start
- Add at least one pickup address. Without one, Ship Now is disabled. See Add a pickup address.
- Keep enough balance in your wallet. See Recharge your wallet.
- COD orders must be approved first. See Approve COD orders.
Ship one shipment
- 1Open B2C › Shipments and stay on the Created tab.
- 2Click Ship Now on the shipment card.
- 3If you have set courier preferences, RouteOne picks the courier for you and shows a message like "Auto-assigned to … · AWB …".
- 4If it cannot decide, the Select Courier window opens with live rates. Choose a courier from the list.
The courier list shows each option's rating, mode, expected delivery, weight and Rate (incl. GST). Badges such as Recommended, Cheapest and Fastest help you choose. To control how auto-assign decides, see Courier preferences.
Ship many at once
Tick several shipments in Created, then use Bulk Action › Ship Now. They are booked in the background. Follow progress in Bulk Action › Bulk Activity Log.
Group by SKU
On the Created tab you can click Group by SKU. It groups waiting orders by product so you can ship by stock. Click Ship Now on a product, enter Units in stock, and RouteOne ships the earliest orders first, whole orders only, until your stock is used up.
The wallet debit
Freight is taken from your wallet at the moment the courier is booked. The shipment moves to Assigned and the charge shows in your wallet history. If your balance is too low, the booking does not go through and you are asked to recharge. Check Wallet passbook for each debit.
Next, tell the courier to collect it. See Schedule a pickup and manifest.
