Schedule a pickup and generate a manifest

Ask the courier to collect your parcels, mark them picked up, and use the Pickup and Manifest page for the courier handover.

Once a courier is booked, the shipment waits for collection. These steps tell the courier to come and track the handover.

Schedule Pickup

  1. 1Open B2C › Shipments and go to the Assigned tab.
  2. 2Print the labels and stick them on your parcels. See Download shipping labels and invoices.
  3. 3Tick the shipments, then choose Bulk Action › Schedule Pickup. On a single card you can click Schedule Pickup.

RouteOne sends the pickup request to the courier for the right pickup address. Shipments whose request goes through move to Ready to Ship.

Mark Picked Up

When the courier collects the parcels, you can tick them in Ready to Ship and choose Bulk Action › Mark Picked Up. They move to In Transit. In most cases the courier's own updates do this for you, so you only need it if the status has not moved.

Pickup and Manifest page

Open B2C › Pickup and Manifest. It lists your Ready to Ship parcels grouped by courier. A manifest is the handover sheet for a courier.

  1. 1Find the courier card and its count of ready parcels.
  2. 2Click Generate to create a manifest for those parcels.
  3. 3The manifest appears in the Manifests list with its code, courier, number of shipments, status and date.

Generating a manifest moves those shipments to Shipped (pickup scheduled).

A shipment can still be cancelled with a full freight refund until the courier has actually picked it up. See Cancel a shipment and get a refund.
