COD remittance: how you get paid
See the COD collected by couriers, what has been remitted to you, UTR numbers, upcoming amounts and bank payouts.
For Cash on Delivery orders, the courier partner collects the money from your customer when the parcel is delivered. That money is then passed on to you as a COD remittance. Two pages under Billing show where each payment stands.
COD Remittance
Open Billing › COD Remittance to see payments already made or in progress. Each row shows the Remittance ID, Amount, Shipment Count, Status, UTR (the bank transfer reference) and the Remitted On date.
Search by remittance, UTR or AWB, filter by date and by status (Pending, Processed or Paid), and click Export to download a CSV.
Future COD
Open Billing › Future COD to see remittances that are expected but not paid yet. It has the same columns, with an Expected On date instead of the remitted date. Use it to plan your cash flow.
Bank payouts
If COD is paid to your bank account automatically, a Bank payouts section appears at the bottom of the COD Remittance page. It shows the date, the number of orders, the COD amount, any adjustment, the amount Paid to bank, the status and the UTR.
Before the transfer, any negative wallet balance or unpaid invoice can be adjusted against your COD. The Adjusted column shows this, and the status reads Adjusted against dues when it applies. If a transfer fails or is returned by your bank, the status says it will be retried.
Make sure payouts reach you
- Complete your KYC and keep your bank details correct. See Complete KYC and Company profile and bank.
- Use the UTR number to find a payment in your bank statement.
- Match the Shipment Count and AWBs with your orders if an amount looks different from what you expected.
