Connect your online store
Link Shopify, WooCommerce or another sales channel so orders arrive in RouteOne and tracking goes back to your store.
Connecting a store means new orders show up in RouteOne by themselves, and tracking is sent back to your store once you ship. You do this in Settings › Channels.
Connect a channel
- 1Open Settings and go to Channels.
- 2Click to add a new channel and choose your platform.
- 3Enter a store name so you can recognise it later. This name is shown on your orders and shipments.
- 4Fill in the details for your platform (see below).
- 5Click Test Connection. When it passes, save the channel.
Which platforms
The platform picker shows what you can connect today. The two most common are:
- Shopify: the easiest way is Connect with Shopify. Enter your store domain (for example
your-store.myshopify.com) and approve RouteOne on Shopify's own screen. No keys to copy. See Install the RouteOne Shopify app. - WooCommerce: enter your Store URL, Consumer Key and Consumer Secret. Create the keys in WordPress under WooCommerce › Advanced › REST API, with Read/Write permission.
Other channel types appear on the same screen, each with its own short form. Pick one and follow the hints shown under the fields.
Settings for each channel
Click a channel to open it. You can:
- Sync now to pull orders straight away.
- Turn Auto-import new orders on or off.
- Choose how tracking is pushed back to your store.
- Choose whether RouteOne emails your customer (Email customer from RouteOne).
- Disconnect the channel if you no longer want it linked.
Default pickup location per channel
Each channel can have its own Default pickup location. New orders imported from that channel are picked up from there. If you leave it on Use company primary, your primary pickup address is used. This is handy if you run two stores from two warehouses.
